The Aspire for Equality Pro Bono Mentoring Program exists to inspire and empower women working in charities, not-for-profits, government, schools and social enterprises to create change in the world.

Since 2010, our global network of mentors and mentees have created a multiplier effect that has already impacted nearly 20 million women worldwide.

Mentees are women from all levels in charities, schools, government, and other not-for-profit and social enterprises around the world and work for causes to create change in areas such as gender equality, education, gun violence, immigration, sexual violence and many more.

Mentors are women and men from all levels in corporations and small to medium businesses. While your experience and expertise is valuable, being able to listen, reflect, and empathize matters just as much.

You’ll organize your own mentoring sessions, which are typically an hour per month, over a six month period. We offer a brief online orientation program to get you started and we can support you with any challenges you may have.

The rewards and learning that go along with mentoring can be life changing, so if you’d like to make a difference, please get in touch or apply now.

You’ll get

  • The satisfaction of using your experience to empower a woman to change the world.
  • The chance to apply your listening, analytical, and interpersonal skills beyond your day-to-day work.
  • Insight and learnings from your mentee.
  • Significant discounts on Aspire for Equality events (this is how we fund the mentoring program).
  • Membership and access to a global network of like-minded change-makers making a difference.

"The mentoring program is a great idea in terms of the ultimate impact on wellbeing of women - the multiplier effect is very powerful. I enjoyed being helpful and felt more motivated in my personal and professional life and I also got to know a totally different life!"

"I got a lot from mentoring my mentee and particularly from mentoring someone from a different culture. What I valued most from the program was feeling like I might in some small way be helping improve my mentee's quality of life."
